I have officially finished my first week at the university and badabababaaa I'M LOVIN' IT! Seattle is lit, at views are insane everywhere I go. this is the kind of place I could picture myself settling down in. in honor of celebrating all the love I felt this week, I think it's appropriate to share a list of things I love about life. life is going uphill right now, but I'm so ready for the ride to come. without further ado, this is the list of loves:

1. eccentric art forms (i.e. the Seattle Gum Wall)

2. unique flavors of ice cream that you can only buy in cute shops

3. the smell of citrus

4. having the church to call home when I'm jumping from place to place

5. big and fast changes

6. the feeling of being high up and looking down when everything on the ground looks super small

7. people who give the attitude right back

8. solid puns

9. dancing in public places

10. India Earl and Chris Burkard photography; they are my idols

11. when people make an effort to say 'hi'

12. Clif Bars

13. bubblers and the word 'bubbler'

14. people who embrace their culture

15. colorful foods (fruits, vegetables, Sour Patch Kids, Superman ice cream)

16. smiles

17. reliable/cheap public transportation

18. having things in new places that remind us of home

19. dreadlocks

20. dreams and goals that are bigger than us

21. blunt, very-honest people

22. compost bins

23. walking through big cities

24. crunchy peanut butter & banana sandwiches (haven't had one in forever and I'm dying) . . . actually anything on toast

25. when people swear and it almost makes no sense

26. the feeling of peeing after you've been out in the cold for a long time

27. a really good Gala apple

28. FaceTiming my family so I can see them 2,000 miles away

29. boba (most of my loves are ingestible)

30. coffee shops
