The T is the main train line here in Boston. Heather and I took it from the station outside her house to Copley today where my sight seeing adventures were. She got off with me to point me in the direction of all the chill places I could check out in Boston. Then we said our goodbyes and she headed off to work. It's always hard saying goodbye to friends you meet while adventuring in life, but moments like this make me grateful that there's always a chance for spontaneous reunions to work out.

I remember last year when I was traveling w Chelsea there was one night where we arrived to our station at 2am and it was soaking rain and we had to spend a night at the coach station. That was the coldest id ever been, and I decided that I would prefer to be hot rather than cold any day. I rescind that statement because today was so hot outside that I completely sweat thru my shirt. Black is the only color I can wear now. But no amount of UV could stop my adventure today. I studied in the beautiful Boston public library, checked out some fancy cathedrals and strolled thru the public garden and Commons. My last stop was Chinatown where I decided my last meal in America would be banh mi and coconut/red bean boba. I tried to order in Vietnamese because they usually appreciate that when you go to a viet place, but little did I know, they were Chinese and had no idea what I was saying. Fakes. The boba was alright, but the banh mi thit ga was mediocre at best. Still it was enough to be satisfying.

My flight leaves in an hour and I'll wake up in a new continent, hopefully.

Solo traveling

Pros: no one can complain it's too hot outside except me, no one can smell or see my profuse sweating except me, and I always get to decide where I'm eating

Cons: airports are way more boring and I can't really sleep in them

Grateful for: Vietnamese food, specifically boba, chair charges at the airport, black clothing, personal space, sleep, sunsets over city skylines, google maps
