Ok God, that was weird

If you read my spiritual blog, I just wrote a post (literally 2 secs ago) about how God answers me in very direct ways when I am direct with Him. I don't like to get to personal on that blog, so YOU BEST BELIEVE IM ABOUT TO GIVE ALL THE DEETS AQUÍ. 

So a couple weeks ago, I was like man, I feel real lonely. I wish I had a boyfriend, because someone would be willing to hangout with me whenever I wanted. I know weird. Random. So unlike me, cuz I'm a strong independent woman who DONT NEED NO MAN... but it would be nice if I had one. 

Usually when I feel my life lacking something, I turn to the only person who is willing to listen to my rants at 2am, God. I've always been kind of opposed to the idea of dating, and never had marriage as a priority in my life but something clicked. All of the sudden I was like God, i give in. I want a boyfriend. Not because I'm one of the those desperate chicks but i could use a really good friend right now. Please send help. 

So I fell asleep, woke up the next morning, went through my routine.. everything was completely business as usual. Then I went to work. 

This is where things get trippy. 

I was sitting there just doing my job, chatting in between calls with my coworker Yolanda. All of sudden, COMPLETELY UNRELATED TO THE CONVERSATION WE ARE HAVING, Yolanda goes Tien do you have a boyfriend? And I was like nope, and she was like you're kinda just waiting for the right one to fall out of the sky. I thought about for a sec then I was like yeah, i guess so. Yolanda goes, that's what my dad did...doesn't really work. Then she continued the original conversation we were having as if this dating talk didn't happen. 

I just sat there shook cuz I felt like God slapped me in the face through Yolanda. He had to make someone actually say something to me for me to get the message. God was like, Tien it's time to get up and actually make an effort to talk to people and go do things that will actually make progress in trying to find a companion. You can't just freaking sit there! Ugh. 

He works in mysterious ways. That was not the first and definitely not the last.
